Hello, I'm Mark Sorensen, Board Certified Patient Advocate and founder of ClearWay Patient Health Advocacy and Navigation, where every client is guided with clarity, equity, and compassion in their healthcare journey.

Decades of Advocacy, A Lifetime of Service

With over 26 years in the medical field, including 18 years as a Registered Nurse, 3 years having served in the US Army as a Combat Medical Specialist and 5 years as ancillary hospital patient support staff, I've dedicated my career to helping people understand and navigate the healthcare system with confidence and equity. I have spent over 8 years assisting individuals experiencing homelessness navigate the process to obtain permanent housing with dignity.

ClearWay Patient Health Advocacy and Navigation is veteran-owned, and founded by a disabled, first generation US born, healthcare advocacy service dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate complex medical systems, insurance challenges, and care coordination barriers. ClearWay was created to close gaps in healthcare access, understanding, and equity—particularly for underserved, aging, and chronically ill populations.
